Grabeeehh! Talagang na-imbiyerna ako sa mga pananalita niya! Bakit pumayag ang Manila Standard sa ganoong klaseng panunulat? Sa palagay ko, may pananagutan din sila. Marami nang itinawag kay Malu F, ‘di ko na dadagdagan pa. At kahit hindi ako OFW, marami akong kaibigan, kamag-anak, at kakilala na nabibilang sa kanilang ranggo. Susulat ako para ipagtanggol ang mga bagong bayani ng Pilipinas.

poor or rich, there’s no need to belittle other people. we need to be tolerant with what is around us. if you don’t like it, get away from it. if you don’t have anything nice to say, zip your mouth. they are trying to better themselves, if that is what they want to buy and use, let them. it’s their money not yours.

You know what… I think this so-called-socialite-pig doesn’t realize that it doesn’t take being an OFW to actually feel offended by her comments.
I am not an OFW but I was appalled by her “acerbic wit”! I would’ve understood it more if it came from someone who wasn’t pinoy…
Granted she writes for a particular “audience”… but to recklessly write about her sentiments as she sits beside Filipino Workers on a plane wearing AXE and Charlie cologne is likely to be picked up by other non-pinoy readers… and what will THAT say about us Pinoys?! That our overseas workers stink of god knows what and that they don’t know how to keep quiet on a flight? That these OFWs are rowdy and incapable of discipline?!
What the f…!
It’s not a matter of lack of common sense on the average reader that has caused this uproar… because common sense tells us that no matter how “witty” your sense of humor may be (as you so very much claim), it only reinforces what negative image we already have, which we are so very much trying to erase from the international eye.
Instead of just apologizing… you took a different course and thought it best to simply justify your actions?!
Ms. Piggy errr… Ms. Fernandez, we don’t need bitches like you to “shake up our world”… don’t feel compelled to open our eyes!
So much for “responsible writing”… go ahead… hold on to your make-up, your hairdo, your bankbook, your Addidas all-terrain, your Havs, and all your accessories! Cause it’ll be the only true friends you’ll ever have.
And oh… go ahead… “PICK A COUNTRY” again! And this time, stay the f*** away from us permanently. Cause you and your wit ain’t wanted nor needed here by any of us. Good riddance.

Isa akong OFW sa Dubai at grabe ang mga pananalitang binitawan ng Malu F. na yan. Hindi siya nababagay na tawaging Balyena kasi tahimik na nilalang ng Diyos yan sa karagatan. Ganoon din ang Baboy dahil paborito ng mga noypi yan na i-luto at ulamin. naku malu sigurado charlie at axe lang alam mong pabango. ang tagal ko na sa Dubai pero ndi ko pa rin alam ang amoy non. Yon lang siguro ang nakakaya mong bilhin kasi alam na alam mo ang amoy eh. kunyari lang yong jo malone ek-ek mo for sure hindi ka nakaka afford bumili non. hudas ka! punyemas ka!!!!!!!!! pag bumalik ka ng dubai babalatan ka lahat ng pinoy dito at gawin kang shawarma pero walang kakain sayo kasi sobrang mamantika ka yaaiiiikkkkkssssss………..eweeeeeeee. nasusuka kami sa pagmumukha mo at nakakahiyang tangapin na pilipino ka…… kadiri kang hayop ka!!!!!!!!!!!

nagresign na ba sya? dapat lang, wag nya nang antayin na sugurin sya ng mga tao. sa mga words nya di sya bagay maging writer bagay sa kanya ay maging stand up comedian tapos batuhin sya ng mga tao ng kamatis na nasa loob ng bote ng beer.at hindi sya nakakatawa noh !! meron na bang action ginawa and DOLE at POEA sa mga sinabi nya? kase dapat sila protect sa rights ng OFW may it be by words or deeds. walamg masama sa pagsusulat pero maging responsible ka sa lahat ng actions mo, na parang ikaw na lang ang pinakamagaling, this is called responsible journalism.
